Dawn -
(Jaws) I'm an 18 yr old quarter horse mare. My nick name is Dawn the Beautiful.
This is because I'm the prettiest girl in the barn. I even got to meet George Strait since I'm so pretty. I like carrots
and apples. My favorite color is pink but, I always get navy colored halters. Many riders compete on me and we finish well
in all events, since I can do anything that is expected of me. |

John--I am a 14 year old Belgian gelding. I weigh 2400 pounds. My job at Bakas
is to pull the carriage. But also I enjoy getting ridden in class. Most people are surprised at my size after they hear
my name! I love to be scratched under my belly. My favorite treats are carrots. I am not fond of apples! |

Johnnie Jet--I am a
23 year old brown and white paint mare. I am recovering from an injury to one of my hooves. So I have been on a little
vacation from classes! My favorite part of Bakas is when the kids finger paint me all different colors. Also, I enjoy the
little riders who smile and are so happy to ride me. |

Sequoia--I am a 16
year old Quarter Horse gelding. My nick name is the 'Joker'. I enjoy speed events and doing drill team at special events. I
enjoy all treats! I also enjoy spending quality pasture time with my buddies. |

Dolly--I am a
28-year-old Clydesdale and Thoroughbred cross. My important job at Bakas is to be a safe and kind back riding horse. This
allows the staff member to hold a severely disabled rider on me and give them the chance to ride. I feel privileged that they
chose me. I enjoy carrots from the riders. Most of all, I love being a therapy horse. |

Zander--I am a 14 year
old handsome Hanoverian gelding. I am 17 hands tall. All the mares at Bakas bat their eyes at me! I enjoy horse shows but,
I am shy and the noisy crowds scare me. My favorite color is blue. I love carrots and mints. I could do without apples but
they are very nutritious. |

Mattie--I am a 22 year
old registered paint mare. Most people look at me and tell me how pretty I am. I have big brown and white spots. My
favorite color is purple and I love carrots. I hate summertime because the staff smears sunblock all over my nose! |

Buddy--I am a 12 year
old registered miniature horse. Most people think I am a pony or a baby horse. I am an expert at looking cute and also
pulling a cart! I feel I am a Bakas mascot. I enjoy all the kids petting me and tell me how adorable I am. I really like it
when my visitors bring me mints for my awful breath! |

Jack--I am a cute 18
year old Welsh Pony gelding. My show name is 'Just Jack'. I enjoy all riders and special events. I like carrots. But my
favorite treat is nutter butter cookies. Most of all, I love running in the field with my buddy Zander. |

Kermit--I am a 16 year
old Quarter Horse gelding. I used to be a fancy show jumper. Now, I am a happy therapy horse. I do enjoy competing at
challenge shows and Special Olympics. My riders usually get first place ribbons since I am such a good looking horse. My
favorite color is royal blue and I love all the treats our riders bring. |

Cheyenne--I am a 13
year old Quarter Horse mare. I am new but catching on quickly to the program. My favorite color is purple and I love
carrots. I love the riders who kiss my nose when they are done riding. Also, I enjoy swimming in the lake. |

Black Jack--I am a 12 year
old Quarter Horse gelding. I am new to the program so I am learning the way to handle our riders. I used to be a speed and
jumping horse. My favorite color is navy but some staff member got me a bright pink halter! I think I am going to fit in
well here. I am young but strong so I will be able to help all sizes of riders. |

Suzie--I am a 19 year old
Percheron mare. I have many things to offer. I can pull the carriage, back ride, or just ride. I enjoy swimming in the
lake. My favorite color is red and I love my new read halter. I like carrots and apples. |

Chester--I am a 17 year
old Quarter Horse gelding. I am special because I only have one eye. I lost my eye due to an injury. Luckily, I got a
sponsor for my expensive surgery and can assure you I am worth every penny! I work all classes and special events. Since my
recovery, I haven't missed a day of work. My favorite color is navy and I love carrots. |
